The NY Mets are now in sole possession of first place in the National League East, after beating the Phillies 3-1 today. In the bottom of the 8th with a man on second, the Phillies intentionally walked David Wright, to get to Carlos Delgado. This was the correct move, as the pitcher was left hander JC Romero, who is practically un-hittable vs. left handed batters, not today though. On a 2-2 count Delgado took the outside pitch into left field, for a 2-Run Double, to give the Mets the lead, and set it up for Billy Wagner to earn is 26th save. The Mets are in 1st place for the first time since April. Here go some pictures below from todays game courtesy of AP. Check out more news on Mets.com, Metsblog.com, or SNY.tv

I guess Lord Tariq, Peter Gunz & Wyclef figured they could fool the other 49 states.
